144 MahJongg tiles, 8 each of 18 different tiles (all of the seasons are considered the same tiles, all of the flowers are considered the same tile).
To remove all the tiles in pairs.
| • | 144 tiles in a 6x6 rectangle with four levels - remove matched pairs of identical tiles on the same level that can be connected by a line with no more than two right angle turns. The line may not pass over any other tiles (it must pass through empty space). See Four Rivers for examples. |
| • | To select a pair of tiles, click on the first tile, then click on the second tile to remove the pair. Right click on a tile to show any possible match for that tile. Right click in an empty area to show a possible match on the board. |
| • | Keyboard shortcuts - Control-H (Hint) will show a possible match. Enter (Accept) will remove the match. |
| • | When there are no move available groups to remove, you will have the option to Undo, Restart, or Shuffle. |
| • | At the beginning of the game, all of the possible matches will be pairs of tiles that are both on the same edge of the four edges of the layout. There can be no pairs in the middle of the layout as you cannot draw a line between tiles over empty space unless the tiles are on an edge. |
| • | There are always two pairs of each type of tile on each level. |
| • | Tiles can only be matched if they are on the same level. Consequently, the game can be solved one layer at a time, making it easier than Four Rivers. Moves on a higher layer may not be obvious due to the visibility of tiles on the level underneath. |
